Given a calling from the Lord, I have been feeding the hungry and the homeless in the Houston, TX AREA. Some locals may have spotted me carrying a blue basket with the day's provision as I brave through crossing busy intersections to reach someone hungry under the freeway bridge or making risky auto maneuvers to reach someone in the middle of the street. They are those who do not have the capacity to travel to meal centers or are incapacitated to do so, and do not have the luxury of a kitchen to enjoy a hot meal, at the very least. I cook and deliver hot meals and deliver these in different streets and freeway underpass in my area. I can only provide food and prayers. Every plate they receive is written with a scripture from the Bible so they are fed both physically anD SPIRITUALLY IT has been a struggle to complete the meal with desserts and beverages on top of sourcing funds for the purchase of the disposable cutlery, other supplies, plus gas to drive around looking for them in different streets everyday. A few times, they would ask for clothing and other assistance. It pains me when I cannot satisfy their other simple requests...I'd like to give more and do more...Sometimes, a daily run of a basketful of plates is not enough to feed all of them. If you feel compelled to help, please know that your acts can be intensely meaningful to them who feel pushed to the margins. The best kind of giving is giving back...This is an ongoing project. It has been heavy in my heart to start a non-profit organization so I can be in a better position to help improve the quality of life of the poor and the disadvantaged. Perhaps, not just in my community as a solo ministry but even on a global scale, if fully funded and warranted.

Somehow, somewhere...there is one hungry person out there. And there needs to be someone who finds time to reach out and help....Bless me to bless others...My homeless family does not thank me, they know that they should always thank Jesus and give Him the glory!

Proverbs 19:17     Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Proverbs 14:31     Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.

Matthew 25:35     For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
